Level 1 SOCIAL STUDIES

This course examines significant historical events throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand & World history.  Topics will include "The Springbok Tour 1981", the "Black Civil Rights Movement in the USA during the 1950's-60's", as well as "Social Justice and Human Rights Actions" case studies from around the globe.  The Level 1 Social Studies course prepares students for L2/3 Social Studies, L2/3 History, Geography or Travel & Tourism.
