Community Care Fund
The Community Care Fund is a monetary fund available for costs related to support for the LGBTQ community. This fund is available to help with the following expenses:
Travel expenses for doctor visits related to transitioning
Mental health care
Costs associated with legal name changes
Medical supplies related to transitioning
Hair removal procedures
Emergency housing needs
You must be a resident of the Nebraska Panhandle. To apply for assistance, complete the application below.
Educational Training
Panhandle Equality provides educational training to businesses and organizations in the Nebraska Panhandle about issues LGBTQ+ individuals face in the community and the workplace. We offer trainings virtually and in person for a $50.00 base fee. Additional costs may apply to travel.Â
We will gladly attend community events, can provide educational information about our organization, and provide swag (buttons, pens, flags, etc.) to be shared to the public on our behalf for FREE.
