Safety Plan Deliverable Instructions:
Use the link below to review the current school year safety plan tool at your summer campus. Then, you will submit a modified safety plan for summer in the Google folders below.
Look up the regular school year safety plan for your summer campus. You will need to download the evacuation map from the reg. school year. ( You have to be signed in to your OUSD email account)
Submit your summer safety plan via the OUSD Expanded Learning Program - Site Safety Plan. (Google Form)
Conduct safety drills in the first week of your summer program. Submit your drill report here.
Emergency Procedures: Earthquake/Fire Drill
All Summer Learning programs will conduct fire/earthquake drills during the first week of programming. This is important as you may be hosting young people who are unfamiliar with your campus. We traditionally do this on Wednesday of the first week of the program.
You must have a copy of your school year safety plan in place and know what to do in case of an emergency on your campus. Please review all documents and review the plan with your staff during training.
