In-Processing

Some critical information:

  • Please review the welcome letter!! Click this link

  • Do not follow Google Maps if you search Athletes in Action - this will take you to the ball fields. Search Schindler Banquet Center in your direction app of choice.

  • Follow signs and CAP members individuals directing traffic.

  • Be aware of pedestrians in the area and obey all posted speed limit signs on campus.

  • In-processing will be begin at 0930 in Schindler Banquet Center (see the maps below). You may get in line early, but we will start promptly at 0930.

  • Parents should remain with their cadet until inprocessing is complete.

  • Parents are invited to an optional briefing held at the AIA Staff Dining room.

Upon your arrival at Athletes in Action (Xenia, OH), you, and your parent/guardian, will visit a series of stations that include a brief interview with the Encampment Health Services Staff (if applicable), a check for contraband, and issuance of PT belt, encampment t-shirt, and canteen with bag/strap to be used during the duration of encampment.

During this process, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to ask questions of Encampment Staff, and may be asked to take items that the cadet doesn’t need, or to get something they forgot.

Parents or guardians will then be directed to say goodbye for the week and leave the area. Only encampment participants are allowed beyond the check-in area(s). Inprocessing should take less than 5 minutes per cadet.
