C/Lt Col Gavin Davis - Cadet Commander (CTG/CC)

C/Lt Col Davis joined CAP in January 2017 and is a member of the New York Wing. His experience ranges from serving on the National Cadet Advisory Council as the Overseas Liaison and the CAC Guide Committee Chair, to being a qualified Ground Team Leader. He has attended a variety of activities, to include Hawk Mountain Ranger School, National Flight Academy, Civic Leadership Academy, National Blue Beret, Northeast Region Leadership School, National Character & Leadership Symposium and more. C/Lt Col Davis’ mantra and standard as a leader is “Attitude, Spirit, Motivation, Discipline”. Outside of CAP C/Lt Col Davis studies psychology at Finger Lakes Community College and loves to hike, fence, and play ice hockey. He intends to transfer to a 4 year college, continue studying psychology, and commission into the United States Army through ROTC.

C/Lt Col Dana Rose - Cadet Deputy Commander for Support (CTG/DCS)

C/Lt Col Rose has been in CAP since September 2017. In her time, she has gained experience in all aspects of cadet life. Most notably, she is the vice-chair of the Great Lakes Region Cadet Advisory Council, she has earned her Private Pilot Wings and Advanced Ground Instructor rating, and she is Ground Team 3 qualified. In addition, she has extensive experience with Public Affairs throughout several events across the region. She plans to achieve her Spaatz by June 18, 2022 with the assistance of C/Lt Col Valek.




C/Capt David Anand - Cadet Deputy Commander for Operations (CTG/DCO)

C/Capt Anand joined CAP in February 2017. Currently, Capt Anand is the cadet commander of OH-131. STEM and Cyber Security are his passions. As captain of the Black Sheep CyberPatriot team, he has led them to several first place finishes in the CyberPatriot Competitions at the state level. His experiences range from attending and staffing CAP National Cyber Academies to serving as vice chair in the OHWG Cadet Advisory Council. He has also staffed several OHWG encampments in various roles. Capt Anand is looking forward to bringing his varied experiences to make this encampment a great success. A fun fact about Capt Anand is that he has a planet named after him.

C/Maj Courtney Szczap - Cadet Plans and Programs Officer (CTG/XP)


C/Maj Courtney Szczap has been in CAP since March of 2016. She has served as the Chair of OHWG CAC, achieved her private pilot solo flight, and has helped plan events for many events for her squadron and others. She has attended the Robert Ayres Flight Academy in Maryland and the Space Command Familiarization Course in Florida and been involved with every OHWG Encampment since 2019. Currently, C/Maj Szczap is serving as the OHWG Encampment’s Plans and Programs Officer while attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, studying Human Factors.
