Here you will find some of the suggested building-level guidelines regarding BYOD. Please remember to follow your building's specific rules and guidelines as determined by your administrator.

In bathrooms and locker rooms
During building assemblies and presentations
*Teachers are responsible for their class and should communicate when students can and cannot use devices!
Students will follow teacher/classroom rules regarding BYOD
Type 1 Infractions
These are the most common and least severe. These will be addressed by the teacher within the classroom initially and will then be referred to administration if consistently disregarded.
Students will use devices at appropriate times as directed by the teacher
Students will cite source's when using another's work
Students will refrain from distributing private information about others or themselves
Type 2 Infractions
These are the most severe type of infractions. Consequences can result in anything from losing technology privileges, to after school detention, to possible suspension and/or expulsion from school.
Students will view appropriate material on devices
Students will observe all district internet filters
Students will not damage school and/or district owned laptops or networks
Students will use only assigned accounts
