• Download and experience how to use QR Codes

• Using Google Sites to facilitate online learning

• How to utilize TED talks and TED app with small/large groups across various areas of content

• Use Poll Everywhere to summarize learning

Lesson

1. Download TED app to your device (make sure you are on the wireless network - OHLSDGuest should be available)

- Google Play Store

- iOS App Store

2. Choose one of the following TED talks (each is under 4 minutes)

*find without using the search bar (use one of the categories or other methods of searching/filtering)

- Pete Alcorn on the World in 2200

(*Hint - Themes, Time)

- Gregory Petsko on the Coming Neurological Epidemic

(*Hint - Aging)

3. After finding the TED talk, watch on device

4. Now summarize the TED talk you just viewed in 160 characters or less, using Poll Everywhere
