We are excited to announce that John’s Safe Place Room in now open at Olmsted Falls High School! The room will be in the Guidance Department and is open to all students.
The room has low lighting, comfortable couches, games, puzzles, art materials and an aquarium. The room will be monitored by the school’s guidance department. By giving students this opportunity, it allows them time to calm down, relax, and get away from stressors.
As part of an ongoing and increasing focus on supporting the health and wellness of our Bulldog students, we are pleased to partner with Ohio Guidestone to offer a special presentation for parents/caregivers of Bulldog students in grades 6-12. The mental health and wellness of our young people are serious concerns. Perhaps you are seeing signs of stress, anxiety, and/or depression in your own child, and you don’t know what to do. Maybe you aren’t even sure what to look for and when you should be concerned. Fortunately, you are not alone.
