The Eighties

During the Eighties saw the introduction of the NSSA Daily Express Award Scheme and the NSSA Championships, originally at Oxford. Team Racing was in double handed boats 1. The Owen Aisher Award continued to prosper as shown by the programme from 1985. Click here to view.I have also found a 1988 leaflet which was designed so that it could be an A3 Poster and information for teachers. In those days colour printing was expensive but by using only two colours (Blue and Red) the price was kept down and the pictures worked nicely.Printing the Secretary's name and address so prominently was a mistake as Derek Sykes had to resign shortly after the leaflet was produced due to work commitments - as scanned you can see the resultant amendment.
