Communication Scholarship

Great Plains Communications College Scholarship is offered to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a Nebraska state or private college, a Nebraska one-or two-year trade or technical school, Northwest Technical Institute of Goodland, Kansas, and Mitchell Technical Institute of Mitchell, South Dakota. Up to ten $1000 scholarships will be awarded statewide. Applicant must be a customer of Great Plains communications and subsidiaries.

Workforce Recruitment Program

Great Plains has teamed up with Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD to offer selected candidates an opportunity to receive partial paid tuition by participating in the school's workforce recruitment program. Students apply for a partnership with Great Plains Communications, and upon acceptance, Great Plains Communications agrees to pay for part of the student's tuition in the schools' telecommunications program. In return, the student agrees to work for Great Plains Communications after graduation.

A limited number of opportunities are available. Students must meet Mitchell Technical Institute enrollment requirements and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale while enrolled. Other requirements and restrictions apply.
