The New York State Seal of Civic Readiness is a formal recognition that a student has demonstrated the civic knowledge, skills, mindsets, and experiences necessary to become an actively engaged citizen. Civic readiness is the ability to make a positive difference in the public life of our communities through the combination of civic knowledge, skills and actions, mindsets and experiences.
Students will engage in various lessons, projects, and activities to expand the essential knowledge of how to be a better citizen, how to address civic problems, and use research based skills to solve problems.
