The North Rockland High School Social Studies department is committed to instilling a love of history, knowledge of our country’s development, and an interest in the cultures of the world. We take pride in preparing our students for college and career by honing thinking and writing skills, while challenging all students to reach and exceed their potential.
Students may take courses offered through the Advanced Placement program, as well as receive college credit through our college partners Rockland Community College, St. Thomas Aquinas, Dominican University, and Syracuse University.
You can view our webpage that describes some of our advanced course offerings, but please see the NRHS Program of Studies book for our course descriptions and greater details on any prerequisites. Social Studies begins on page 55.
