When first accessing the NIHR Learn website, select "Create Account".
Read the message and click "Yes" when prompted on the following screen.
On the next screen:
Add your email address - this can be any email address, but it is recommended that you use your work email.
Add your first name and last name.
Choose a password.
Tick "I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions" - you can read them by clicking on Terms and Conditions.
The next screen allows you to register or connect an ORCID iD to your account. ORCID provides an identifier to distinguish you from other researchers and link your research activities.
If you have or desire one, click on "Register or Connect your ORCID iD".
If not, click on "Skip ORCID iD verification".
A confirmation email will be sent to your chosen email address. Click on the "Confirm account" button in the email.
Your account is now activated and you can return to the initial login screen.

The first time you sign in you will be prompted to complete a two-step authentication process.
You will receive a one-time password in your email.
Copy the password into the NIHR Learn sign-in and click "Authenticate"
On the next screen, make sure all NIHR Learn User Consent tick boxes are checked and click "Continue".
You have now completed the steps and will be taken to the NIHR Learn home page.
You will sometimes be required to complete the two-step authentication again on future logins. Repeat steps 1 and 2 when prompted.
