New Haven Public Schools offers 9 languages, Arabic, ASL, Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Italian, Pashto, and Spanish. Most schools begin language instruction by 6th grade. We had the amazing UCONN, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls and international basketball player, Scott Burrell at our PD on August 27th to talk about how world language teachers can be "coaches" for proficiency!
