4th-grade students identified for AIG services are pulled in a small group for reading during the power-up block, a school-wide time dedicated to enrichment and intervention. Therefore, no core content is taught in the classroom during this time, so AIG students will not miss any information or need to make up any work; AIG is designed to be *different* work, not more work.
4th-grade students are pulled for math in a small group for 30 minutes during the classroom math block. Your child will work with me to enrich and extend the standards. Again, your child will not miss any core instruction or need to make up work.
