I'm Mrs. Houser and I'm so excited to teach you this year and learn about you! But first, here are some things you might like to know about me.  

I have always lived in North Carolina, but moved to Wilmington in 2002 to attend and graduate from UNCW, after attending Appalachian State my first two years.  I have been teaching here in New Hanover county for 20 years.  I have taught second and third grade, both of which I love!  This will be my second year as an interventionist and math coach. 

   I got married six summers ago, so some of your students or older children may remember me as       Ms. Shelor. :)  In my time away from school, my family and I find ourselves spending lots of time outdoors with sports and our puppies Copper and Penny!  We also enjoy playing with our kitty Hazel.  Along with my 17 year old son, Bradley, we have a 2 year old, Miles! We enjoyed our second summer as a family of four!
