  1. Everyone respects everyone

    1. Players, coaches, referees, parents/guardians, and teachers all respect each other.

    2. Respect each other’s time by being punctual.  Be where you are supposed to be!

  1. Give 100% effort every day

    1. Your team depends on you, so do your part on the field and in the classroom!

    2. You will only improve if you give your 100%, and anything less will be a waste of everyone’s time.

  1. Have a positive attitude

    1. Team-first mentality! Stay positive towards your teammates.

    2. Never quit! Stay positive with your physical abilities and do not get discouraged.

  1. Keep Grades up and stay out of trouble

    1. You are a STUDENT athlete.  Always remember that you are a STUDENT first and an athlete second.

    2. Review our student contract to see the consequences of ISS and OSS.

A note from the coach:

Through my experiences as a coach, player, and sergeant, I’ve come to understand the secret to a winning formula – and it’s not really a secret. Many great athletes realize that teamwork is the foundation of victory and soldiers understand that it means survival!

We have a team-first mentality. We practice self-discipline and understand that we can’t always do whatever we want. Our focus is on doing what’s best for the team!

Some of you will quit, but what I say to that is this... NEVER EVER QUIT!  You will have never ending challenges in your life, and under my guidance, you will develop the lion mentality and heart of a champion!  Those who allow me to steer them back on the right path will know what it means to be a team player, a great athlete, and a fearless leader!

I want to know the answer to two questions:

Why are you here to play football?

What are you hoping to get out of this season?

This will be a lot of hard work, so get ready and get fired up because it is time for some football! - Coach Giddo
