I will send you an invite to our BLAX Google Classroom and you can see drills that you can start if you already have equipment.
Mark your calendars! We will have two lacrosse workouts on Friday, February 27th and Friday, March 6th. You will only need to bring cleats for the workouts. If you have a lacrosse stick, you can bring that too but it is not required.
Try-outs will be on Wednesday, March 11th. Only students who have completed the above steps will be eligible to attend these afterschool events. Have your ride ready to pick you up at 5:30pm.

Keep grades up and stay out of trouble
Everyone respects everyone
Players, coaches, referees, parents/guardians, and teachers all respect each other.
Respect each other’s time by being punctual. Be where you are supposed to be!
Give 100% effort every day
Your team depends on you, so do your part on the field and in the classroom!
You will only improve if you give your 100%, and anything less will be a waste of everyone’s time.
Have a positive attitude
Team-first mentality! Stay positive towards your teammates.
Never quit! Stay positive with your physical abilities and do not get discouraged.
Keep Grades up and stay out of trouble

A note from the coach:
Through my experiences as a coach, player, and sergeant, I’ve come to understand the secret to a winning formula – and it’s not really a secret. Many great athletes realize that teamwork is the foundation of victory and soldiers understand that it means survival!
We have a team-first mentality. We practice self-discipline and understand that we can’t always do whatever we want. Our focus is on doing what’s best for the team!
Some of you will quit, but what I say to that is this... NEVER EVER QUIT! You will have never ending challenges in your life, and under my guidance, you will develop the lion mentality and heart of a champion! Those who allow me to steer them back on the right path will know what it means to be a team player, a great athlete, and a fearless leader!
I want to know the answer to two questions:
Why are you here to play lacrosse?
What are you hoping to get out of this season?
This will be a lot of hard work, so get ready and get fired up because it is time for some lacrosse! - Coach Giddo
