Financial Aid

A studentaid.gov account is required to access the FAFSA. You can create an account at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. It is strongly recommended that you create your account before starting your FAFSA. Parents and students each have their own account. 

The FAFSA can be filed at www.studentaid.gov and is available on or before Dec. 1 for the following award year. Try to complete the FAFSA by the Missouri Priority deadline- February 1st (to be eligible for all available funding) or by the state deadline- April 1st (the sooner you can get it done, the better). However, you can still submit the FAFSA after that time. 

Many colleges and universities will have specific deadlines for Financial Aid assistance. Pay close attention to those deadlines.
