Ready to assess your essential technology skills? Complete this 5-10 minute survey. You will receive an individual summary of responses and recommendations for professional development “next steps.”
ABOUT THE SURVEY
The Essential Technology Skills for Educators Self-Assessment addresses staff knowledge and skills in areas like professional productivity (Microsoft Office tools, Office 365), district technology systems (network, wireless, printers), and instructional technology (Google, Schoology, SMART boards and software).
The survey’s purpose is to provide data to inform professional development planning at three levels:
Individual: Staff will receive an individual summary of responses and recommendations for professional development “next steps.”
Program: Managers and principals will receive an aggregated program-level summary to help plan professional development geared for their staff and technology integration goals. Results shared with managers and principals will be anonymous, with no individual identifying information.
District-wide: Teaching and Learning and Information Services will identify needs, strengths, and trends across the district.
Our goals are that all staff have good information about their own technology skills and are able to direct their own learning based on their results. We want to empower you! Please help us provide you with the best technology learning opportunities possible.
