National Educational Technology Standards for Educators
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has developed a set of core skills and knowledge needed to be effective teachers of digital age learners. With less emphasis on staying ahead of our students and more emphasis on moving ahead as members of a collaborative learning community with our students, the standards outline the technology proficiencies that provide the learning environments and experiences to support development of students technology proficiencies, which prepare students "to learn effectively and live productively in an increasingly digital world."
