NSP Foreclosure Recovery Rehabilitation Program

The city of Brooklyn Park is working in conjunction with many other organizations to purchase and renovate vacant/foreclosed properties in the city. The homes are sold by the city at affordable prices to help promote quality home ownership in updated properties (modern updates, energy efficient windows/appliances and revitalized landscaping).

Those interested in purchasing one of these properties have the potential to receive financial assistance of $7,500 or more. In order to be eligible, applicants must be a legal U.S. citizen and they must earn 120% or less of the area median income.

Applicants cannot have ownership interest in other properties and the property must be the primary residence. Lastly, applicants must attend a Neighborhood Stabilization Program training course.
