The purpose of the above map was to define and create projecttion files. Also some daa used in this map was derived from public available GIS data source (Wake County). The entire streets map for Wake County was downloaded from the Wake County GIS website, but since i was only interested in displaying features in NCSU campus, the data was clipped to the the campus boundary. Also the benchmarks data was a tabular data that was transformed into a spatial data by using the co-ordinates of these benchmarks.

This map was created to showcase geocoding skills using ArcCatalog. The homicide locations were originally a tabular data with address information that was geo-coded and transformed to spatial data.  The city of St. Louis is looking for where to locate a new school, and they want to locate the school away from a high crime area, so this map shows potential school sites that had the most homicides within 3000ft.
