-BUILDING CHALLENGES: Do you love building and testing your engineering skills? Each week we will have several new, fun building challenges with LEGO, blocks, dominos and more!

-OUTSIDE FUN!: Join Tria for some outdoor fitness games and activities. Learn a new sport and explore all that our school has to offer outside!

-PAINTING FUN!: Join Miss Dehlia for an afternoon of painting fun! In this class kids will explore different ways to paint while having a guided picture to try and paint with the materials given.

-CRAFTING WITH CROSSROADS:  Working with your brain is fun! This class gives you an opportunity to think with your hands and build fun crafts you can take home.

-PUTTING THE ART IN STEAM: Art-centered STEAM projects and challenges will be the focus of this class. Have fun with your friends while learning, getting creative and challenging your mind.

TUESDAYS

-DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS (GR 5-6): Welcoming players into the fantasy world of D&D. Sit down, roll dice and get lost in the story told by your Dungeon Master. Fighting creatures, saving villagers, collecting treasure and more is waiting. The world is yours.

-CROSSROADS CARES: Crossroads Cares is a community service/kindness group that will work together to brighten up our school and community! Fun projects and activities will be planned while including student-driven initiatives.

Did you know there are over 900,000 islands in the world? Let’s turn our camps into island adventures! From water balloons and beach-themed days to learning about island communities around the world, we will splash our way through five amazing days.

- EXPLORERS DANCE CAMP: Afternoons only for grades 1-3

Do you love being creative, learning new skills and performing? This is the class for you! Miss Madison will be teaching dance skills and choreography each day!

Week Three - July 22-26

- STORYLAND CAMP: AM Camp, PM Camp, or Full-Day Camp gr 1-6

We are bringing your favorite stories and characters to camp! Action and adventure await you each day as we dive into new worlds and stories through games, performances, and outdoor activities. Share your favorite stories and choose your own adventures!

- ACTING & PUPPETRY: Mornings only for grades 1-3

Get ready for a week of acting, storytelling and puppet theater with Virginia Holiman. You will create your own puppets, sets and act out the stories as you prepare for a final performance. 

- DRAMA CAMP: Afternoons only for grades 3-6

Do you love to act and perform? Join MVU student Asher for two weeks of theater camp! In theater camp, you will work on a play to perform in front of other campers at the end of the last week.

Week Four - July 29-August 2

- SURVIVE THE UNIVERSE CAMP: AM Camp, PM Camp, or Full-Day Camp gr 1-6

Where will we travel this year? For five days, you will find yourself in a different place in the universe, where you will experience the place through food, challenges, activities, contests, crafts and more. How will you meet these fun challenges on Earth or in space?

- DRAMA CAMP: Afternoons only for grades 3-6

Week Five - August 5-9

- MORNINGS AT THE REC: Morning Camp only, No Transportation Provided, gr 1-12

MVSD After School and Swanton Recreation are teaming up to offer a week of FREE morning programming! Join us for crafts, games, outdoor activities, and more at Swanton Recreation from 8am - 12pm for MVSD students entering grades 1 - 12. Additional leadership opportunities available for students in grades 7 - 12.  Breakfast, lunch, and lots of fun provided. Families must provide their own transportation; bus transportation is not available.

- ROSIE’S GIRLS: Mornings only for grades 5-6  Rosie’s Girls® Afterschool is a trades, STEM, and career exploration summer camp and afterschool program for middle school girls*. Through hands-on learning and a research-based social/emotional curriculum called Power Skills, Rosie’s Girls helps youth break down gender stereotypes, develop self-confidence, build connections, and dream big about their futures. *Rosie's Girls welcomes into our program anyone who identifies as a girl regardless of assignment at birth. Our programs also welcome any youth who are comfortable in a girl-centered space.

- SPORTS SAMPLER: Mornings only for grades 4-6  Join Mr. Nielsen for a fun-filled week of sports and games!  We’ll learn new skills, practice teamwork and spend time with peers.

- WORLD PERCUSSION BOOT CAMP: Afternoons only for grades 4-6  Get ready to take a rhythmic journey around the world! We'll explore the history of percussion instruments, from traditional drums to world music wonders. Learn all about creating awesome rhythms, keeping a steady beat, and playing alongside your new bandmates to music from all corners of the globe. This camp is perfect for anyone who loves to make a joyful noise!

Week Two - July 15-19

- CHINESE CULTURE CLUB: Mornings only for grades 4-6  Join us in learning all about Chinese Culture! The Chinese culture club will have games, art, stories,  a chance to learn a new language and more!

- STEM CAMP: Afternoons only for grades 4-6  Join Mrs. Depatie for two weeks of STEM Camp. This camp will have many fun projects focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!

- SWANTON STRUMMERS UKULELE ENSEMBLE: Afternoons only, grades 4-6  Calling all music makers! Have you ever dreamed of jamming to your favorite tunes on a ukulele? This class is your chance! Learn the secrets to strumming sweet melodies and chords, and even composing your own songs while also learning a bit of the history and culture of the instrument. Get ready to play ukulele like a pro, jam with new friends, and become a ukulele superstar!

Week Three - July 22-26
