How to Graduate, MA
Within the first three weeks of your final semester, you should prepare to graduate by completing a few tasks:
Apply to graduate
Organize your final portfolio
Exit Exam
Apply to Graduate
Applying to graduate is as simple as going online to myGate and going through the listed procedures.
Organize your Portfolio
Up until the end of your graduate career, you should be keeping careful track of all of your papers and projects. The work you do as part of your coursework make up your final portfolio--a requirement for graduation and a mandatory part of the exit exam. Details about the format and submission of your portfolio are available during TSL 680 (preliminary portfolio) and TSL 690 (final portfolio). Oral Exit Exam

To apply to take your oral exit exam, you must complete this document and sign up on the calendar once times for your semester are created. ExitapprevisedSP16.pdf
Graduate Program Form
In order to receive your diploma, you MUST fill out the Graduate Program form and return it to your adviser! This is a very important step that must be completed after your first semester but before you graduate! You can find the form here.
