How clean is our waterway?

The students observed the human activities around the Punggol waterway as well how human activities are affected by the waterway. The students also did a field sketch of the waterway.

Tug boat captured in the morning bringing the construction materials. How would this affect the waterway?

Temperature was low at 24.1 degree Celsius and it was very windy and rained.

floating turbidity barrier help to stop silt from entering the water body and also keep the aquatic vegetation in place. It also help to trap rubbish and prevent it being washed into the water.

The beautify and clean waterway - a place where people relax. A bridge as seen in the background helped to connect the two river banks.

The dam help to trap the body of water to form the reservoir.
