For this project, you should put together a slide show that works as a timeline for hominid evolution. Begin at least as far back as Australopithecus. Include the scientific names of species that lived before our own and work your way to us (Homo Sapien Sapien). Include "milestones" (significant accomplishments like first stone tool making, first use/creation of fire, etc...) for each species, and research their tools, technology, level of intelligence, physical characteristics, diet, time range, region/environment, and other important facts for each species.
Species to talk about (about 4 slides on each, i.e. time and geographic range/environment, intelligence/technology, physical characteristics/diet, and other facts):
-Orrorin or Ardipithecus (skip)
-An Australopithecus species
-Homo Habilis
-Homo Erectus
-Neanderthal
-Modern Humans (skip)
