Today you are a journalist; your job is to write 2 reports on current event news stories. You will use Google docs.
1) The first report should be on an important world event (Japan's earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster, the democratic revolutions in Northern Africa and the Middle East, the death of Osama bin Laden, the storm that devastated the Southeastern U.S., the economic crisis, the rise of China, or some other important event or series of events). Find at least one story about one of these events, and write a report on the topic you have chosen.
2) The second report should be on some event or topic that is important to your personally. That could include the events listed above and therefore could be similar to your first report, or you may have other interests (sports, pop culture, music, technology, etc...) that are reported on in the news. Find a story that discusses your interest(s) and write a report about your chosen topic.
