Arrival/Dismissal

Good morning!

To all Hillside parents, families and friends, please take the time to thoroughly review our arrival and dismissal outline and expectations:

1) Morning

a) You may drop off your students between 7:00 and 7:30. Remember they are tardy beginning at 7:35.

b) Please note if a bus extends its red "stop" sign. If this is out, you may not pass the bus.

c) You may drop off on the sidewalk via the street.

d) You may not park in the teacher parking lot. This is reserved for teachers who need to get to their classrooms on time.

e) You may not make u-turns. You may not turn around in the parking lot or lower driveway or up the street or down the street. This seriously and negatively impacts traffic flow.

2) Dismissal

a) 2:20 Buses first. Starting today they will line up on Reservoir Avenue alongside the school. Cars will not be allowed there until after the buses leave.

b) 2:25 Walkers and riders. If you are picking someone up, please follow the directives of Hillside staffers. We are mindful of being efficient as we know you are all very busy.

We strive to keep the lines moving, so please move as far down the line as possible when directed to. Your child can walk to you.

c) You may not use the parking lot. This is reserved for certain buses.
