Can I bring in treats for my child's birthday?

A  birthday treat can be ordered for the class through the cafeteria.  The form to order a birthday box is attached at the bottom of this page.  Please submit to the cafeteria at least 7 days in advance. Or, you have the option to send in individual pre-packaged treats to be handed out to the class and sent home in backpacks to be enjoyed at home.

Can parents come in for Star Student?  

In 2nd Grade, we try to discourage parents from coming in for Star Student.  Our daily schedule is extremely tight and most parents are not able to make it at the time scheduled.  Keeping Star Student a class celebration eliminates hurt feelings for the students whose parents are not able to attend. 

When will my child be Star Student?

There is no specific order that I choose Star Students and they do not align with birthdays. All students will be Star Student one time throughout the year.
