OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Developmental Preschool/ Peer Pal Program will provide a creative and nurturing environment that values the following as essential components for child development:

* Play as a child’s natural medium for active learning

*Facilitation by adults to provide active learning opportunities for all children

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Our preschool curriculum is designed to meet the developmental needs of all children. Play is the primary means of encouraging skill development for three through five-year old children. Our program focuses on child-directed rather than teacher-directed activities, realizing that children acquire skills when they are engaged learners. We facilitate this philosophy by combining music, movement, art, drama, large and small muscle activities, language, and concept development that are developmentally appropriate. Through social interaction and play, children learn to share, respect others, problem-solve appropriately, and understand how they can positively affect their environment.
