*SW-ACDA Honor Choir (March 4-7, 2020 Little Rock, Arkansas) Audition Information - LINK
* Auditions must be recorded with Mr. Schjodt before Oct 1, 2019
Honor Choir events allow students the opportunity to prepare, and complete, an audition in front of a judge, or judges.
Students who are selected for Honor Choir participation then have the opportunity to learn a set amount of music (as assigned by the specific honor choir) and travel for what amounts to a 2-3 day rehearsal process culminating with a concert performance with a clinician of high acclaim. Additionally, the types of students who generally pursue such opportunities are among the most intellectual and the most talented singers in the region. Honor Choir participants have found, time and again, that great friendships and life-long memories are often made when like-minded students gather together for the purpose of pursuing choral excellence.
While each Honor Choir is a little bit different from the others and therefore has different audition requirements, any student interested in auditioning for any Honor Choir is strongly encouraged to do so.
