The Araphoe Concert Choir is an intermediate, concert-sized SATB ensemble. Healthy, mature vocal production and music fundamentals are stressed. Comprehensive musicianship including sight reading, listening, ensembleship, musical expression, basic music theory, and relating music to other disciplines and cultures are all integral components of Concert Choir. This group of singers performs a variety of literature suitable to an ensemble of its size, ability, and character. Concert sound check rehearsals and all performances are REQUIRED. “All-black, formal concert dress” expense is the responsibility of the student; robes are provided.
