ESOL English

Welcome to Maine! You will be working on your English in three areas: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each of these will always include new vocabulary and some will be singled out for learning through flashcards and ultimately a test.

You will be doing several presentations about various topics; you will be reading aloud in class and you will be reading independently; you will be writing informally and learning to write major papers. With all that you do you will be challenged to listen carefully.

There will be homework assignments that are written on the board and will be posted to the calendar that you see on your right. Check the day you had for class to see what the homework is each night.

When you are in ESL study study hall you will be following the rules.
