Q1：想借被其他讀者借出的圖書，該怎麼辦？

       How can I borrow a book that has been borrowed by another reader? 

A1：對於系統顯示借閱中的圖書，可提出【預約請求】，系統會對這本書進行催還。

      書本返還後，會發送預約申請到館通知給您，請您於通知日之次日起7日內到館取書。

For books currently on loan as indicated by the system, you can place a "reservation request," prompting the system to expedite the return of the book. Once the book is returned, a reservation notification will be sent to you. Please pick up the book at the library within 7 days from the day following the notification date. 

 Q2：什麼是固定借期讀者？

  What is a fixed-term borrower? 

 A2：固定借期讀者指的是還書日固定為1/31與6/30之讀者；本校專任教職員工生及榮譽教授、退休教師、退休職工屬之。

 A fixed-term borrower refers to readers whose return dates are fixed on 1/31 and 6/30. This category includes full-time

faculty, staff, and students of the university, as well as honorary professors, retired faculty, and retired staff. 

Q3：借期可以延長嗎？

 Can the borrowing period be extended?

A3：部份讀者可於到期日前辦理線上續借；如：本校固定借期讀者（展期至下個固定還書日）。其他如兼任教師、校友、一

學期以上的 交流學者或學生、退休教職員眷屬、志工、中正大學之友、捐贈獎勵等30天借期讀者，於到期日前辦理續借，可再享30天的借期。

Some readers are eligible to renew their loans online before the due date. For example, fixed-term borrowers from CCU can extend their borrowing period until the next fixed return date. Others, such as part-time faculty, alumni, exchange scholars or students staying for more than one semester, family members of retired faculty and staff, volunteers, friends of CCU, and recipients of donation incentives, can renew their loans before the due date and enjoy an additional 30-day borrowing period. 

 Q4：尚未註冊的「準研究生」可以借用圖書館藏嗎？

  Can prospective graduate students who have not yet registered borrow books from the library? 

A4：研究生欲於尚未取得學生證前借書，可以到本館官網左下角熱門服務區，按入各式表單下載，再按入 

讀者服務組（出納臺）， 下載【3.研究所新生申請臨時借書證】，於平日日間申辦短期借書證。

Graduate students who wish to borrow books before obtaining their student ID can visit the library's official website. In the lower-left corner of the popular services section, click on the various forms for download. Navigate to the Reader Services Division (Circulation Desk) section, and download the "3. Application for Temporary Library Card for New Graduate Students." Apply for a short-term library card during regular weekday hours. 

 Q5：研究生於休學期間可以借書嗎？

 Can graduate students borrow books during a leave of absence? 

A5：請至本館官網左下角熱門服務區，按入各式表單下載，再按入讀者服務組（出納臺），下載【1.臨時借書證申請(個

人)】，於平日日間申辦休學期間使用的借書證。

Q6：什麼是隔夜借閱圖書？如何辦理？

 What is overnight borrowing of library books? How can it be processed?

A6：隔夜借閱圖書指的是僅可在館內閱覽的館藏，開放於當日閉館前30分鐘辦理外借，然須於下個開館日30分鐘內歸還。

            Overnight borrowing of library books refers to the borrowing of items that can only be read within the library. This 

service is available for checkout 30 minutes before the closing time on the same day, and the items must be returned within the first 30 minutes of the next opening day. 

此類館藏包括：中西文參考書、中西文現刊與過刊、教師著作、教授指定參考書等。

Items eligible for overnight borrowing include Chinese and Western reference books, current and past periodicals in both languages, faculty publications, and books designated by professors for reference. 

           未於規定時間內還書，除進行讀者權益封鎖外，每冊按「小時」為單位課滯還金新台幣 5元，不滿1小時以1小時計。

If the items are not returned within the specified time, in addition to the suspension of reader privileges, a late return fee of NT$5 per book will be charged for every hour overdue, with a minimum charge of 1 hour. 

Q8：校友可以辦理借書證嗎？

Can alumni apply for a library card?

請(個人)】，於平日日間申請校友臨時借書證。

Q9：校外人士可以外借中正大學的圖書館藏書嗎？

Can individuals from outside the university borrow books? 

A9：我們歡迎校外人士進館閱覽。然僅開放三興、松山及豐收村，年滿18歲以上民眾辦理本館借書證。

We welcome individuals from outside the university to visit and read within the library. Access is granted at the Sanxing, Songshan, and Fong-shou Village locations. Individuals aged 18 and above can apply for a temporary library card at the main library.

  Q10：有辦理借書證的休學研究生，可以使用電子資源嗎？

A suspended graduate student who is applying for a library card, may they access electronic resources? 

所有臨時借書證的使用者，皆僅能借書，無法使用電子資源。

All users with temporary library cards are only permitted to borrow physical books and are not granted access to electronic resources.
