Physical Science

Physical Science is a freshman level course and covers three main areas: chemistry, physics, and space sciences. This course covers the nature of matter, chemical interactions, history of atomic theory, balancing chemical equations, motion and forces, energy transfer throughout simple systems and the lithosphere/atmosphere/environment, wave theory, earth processes, weather, the life cycle of a star, and formation of the universe and solar system. The course utilizes basic algebra.
