TERMS-8

TERMS-8 is an 8th grade STEM course that integrates technology, engineering, robotics, mathematics, and science through hands-on, problem-based learning. Students will utilize TETRIX PRIME robotics kits to design, build, test, and modify robotic solutions to a variety of engineering challenges.

Throughout the course, students will explore both remote-controlled (R/C) and autonomous robotics, applying concepts such as mechanical design, problem solving, programming, measurement, and mathematical reasoning. Students will work individually and collaboratively to develop multiple solutions, evaluate their effectiveness, and improve their designs through an iterative engineering process.

The course emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, perseverance, and responsible use of technology. Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate digital citizenship and use technology safely, ethically, and responsibly throughout the course.
