The main goals we have for our student-athletes are to acquire skills that will guide them into the next chapter in their life, in both academics and athletics. There will be an emphasis on sportsmanship and citizenship along with lifelong skills, communication, and teamwork. We want our student-athletes to have a safe and comfortable environment that will create positive memories that will last a lifetime.
The philosophy of the King Kekaulike Athletic Department to be an integral part of a student's educational experience. We believe athletics supports our students to develop mentally, physically, emotionally, socially and morally. The opportunity to participate in a wide range of athletic activities that foster sportsmanship and healthy competition is beneficial for this time in their lives. We also promote the full development of our student-athletes' potential and also provide them with skill development in the areas of cooperation, commitment, discipline and respect for peers, adults, and themselves. Because of this, our student-athletes are expected to maintain a high standard of conduct that demonstrates a commitment to cultivating a culture of caring for one another, for our school and for our community.
