Welcome to opinion writing. In this type of writing, your goal is to share your opinion, or idea or feelings on a topic. Your goal is not to convince others nor is it to be balanced in disputing different opinions (Smekens Education Solutions, Inc., 2012).
Opinion writing is written in first person (I, me, my, our, we, etc) and is meant to allow the writer to share this thoughts on a topic.
