HKU Faculty of Arts Music Scholarship Scheme 2023-24
The HKU Faculty of Arts Music Scholarship Scheme is now open for application until January 16, 2023. The HKU Department of Music provides an exclusive opportunity for your students whose pre-university experience includes a significant commitment to the pursuit of music excellence as well as to their formal academic studies.
The Music Scholarship Scheme enables admitted Music Scholars to have access to:
FINANCIAL SUBSIDY for attending overseas workshops / master classes conferences / competitions / festivals that are directly related to their musical studies while enrolled as a student at HKU; and
GUIDANCE from a music or academic mentor individually from the start of the undergraduate study.
We are now inviting you or your Music teachers to recommend your Music students who will start their undergraduate studies in 2023-24 to apply for the scheme at https://hku.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0r2P09XXQBRVSoC (Deadline: January 16, 2023).

To attract bright local talent, CityU Scholarships for Hong Kong Talents have been set up for Hong Kong students with excellent HKDSE or GCE "A" Level / IB results applying to government-funded bachelor's degree programmes.

The Lion Rock Institute - Scholarship for local university/high school students aged 18+
The Lion Rock Institute has established a scholarship programme for local university students in Hong Kong. We would sponsor students with a sound understanding of freedom, who would benefit from a learning experience in a world class free market economic think tank overseas, to gain insight into other societies, and to gain further understanding of economic and personal freedom.
Our target participants are Local University students or High school students(aged 18 or above) – majoring in Economics, Public Policy or other disciplines. Knowledge of economics is not required. More importantly, these students should have a passion for freedom and a desire to expand their knowledge in this area.

Lingnan University scholarship
Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-calibre non-local students to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at the University. Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:

HKSAR - The Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme

To be eligible for the HKSES, applicants are required to meet the following two criteria:
have right of abode or right to land, or have entered Hong Kong on One-way Permits; and
have resided in Hong Kong continuously for three complete years immediately prior to the commencement of the academic programmes outside Hong Kong.
The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship aims to nurture future leaders who will bring about positive social impact through a combination of professional knowledge and personal compassion. A maximum of 22 Scholarships are awarded every year, including 20 Scholarships to undergraduate students from four local partner universities including The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and two Scholarships to secondary graduates admitted to The University of Oxford in the UK.
