Alumni - Order of Transcript

1.    How do I order a transcript?

If you require additional transcripts of your results, these can be requested from the KGV Careers & H.E. Guidance Department by completing the "Alumni Request for Transcript Form".

2.    How much do the transcripts cost?

Standard Transcripts (with 6 weeks' notice) - HK$200 each

3.    How long will my order take to process?

Up to 6 weeks from receipt of order, but please note that we do not sent out transcripts until payment has been received (see Method of Payment below).

Please allow 10-15 working days for the transcripts to be delivered by registered airmail.

Please note: Since the postal service is beyond our control, we cannot guarantee to meet any specific deadline.  You are advised to order transcripts as far in advance as possible.

4.    Method of posting?

ALL transcripts will be posted strictly registered airmail only.  Unfortunately, we are unable to send them by any other method.  Each transcript will be sealed in an official transcript envelope, with a school chop over the seal.

5.    Can you send me a transcript by email?

No.  We can post transcripts, fax them or make them available for collection from the Careers & H.E. Guidance Department.  To collect them, please tick the appropriate box on the request form and do not enter a postal address when providing us with your details.

6.    Can you send me a transcript by fax?

Yes.  Please ensure you write the complete fax number including the full international code on the order form.

7.    Can I come to the school to collect my transcript?

Yes.  Please tick the appropriate box on the request form.  You will be able to collect the transcripts from the Careers & H.E. Guidance Department.

8.    How quickly do I have to collect my transcripts from the Careers & H.E. Guidance Department?

The Careers & H.E. Guidance Department will notify you when your transcripts are ready for collection.  If you do not collect your transcripts within one month of notification, they will be destroyed and you will need to re-order.

9.    Can you send my transcripts direct to a third party?

Yes, as long as you have made the request yourself.

10.    Can you send my transcript by courier?

When you order transcripts on the form, please tick the COURIER collection box option.

If you wish to have transcripts couriered, you will need to make all the arrangements and payment for a courier to come to the KGV Reception Desk on the ground floor of the Peel Block Building.    When arranging the pickup, please provide the courier with your name to help us give them the right documents.

11.    Can you post my transcript to any address?

Yes, we can post transcripts worldwide to any address you provide.

Overseas payment

• Payment by Bank Draft: Please make payee as "King George V School".  The bank draft must be in Hong Kong dollars and drawn against a Hong Kong bank.

• Payment by Telegraphic Transfer: Please transfer funds to:

KGV is NOT responsible for any bank charge incurred.  Alumni making the requests should add HK$100 to the total amount incurred in the request for bank charge.

For example: Request for one copy of transcript: Total payable amount = HK$300 ($200 + $100 bank charge for Hong Kong.)

We regret that we do not accept non-Hong Kong cheques or credit cards.

13.    Where do I send my order form?
