Another beautiful morning greeted Year 8 Camp, but I have to say that there have been some tired children today. In terms of the weather the sun has shone, sky is blue and it has definitely been a slip, slop, slap day.
Our challenges continue as the students rotate through the different activities. Top tips and moments of excitement are being shared across the groups, but all in all what is standing out is how well everyone is just getting involved in the activities that they are doing.
Some records are being broken and the gauntlet has been thrown down as students are climbing higher and faster, building better trebuchets, more solid rafts and creating more ingenious designs to protect their eggs.
In all of this the North Star staff continually comment about how well students are engaged in their activities, how well they listen and importantly how well they work together as a team.
Long may this continue, not only for the remaining two days of camp, but also beyond that as the year group grows together over the next few years at KGV.
