Xi'an is the beginning of the legendary and world-changing silk road. It is one of our most popular trips and is one of the few cities in China to retain its ancient walls and historic buildings. Cycle the city walls, sample the food, explore the Muslim quarter, see where the journey to the west began, visit the Terracotta warriors and climb the unforgettable Mount Huashan.
