The Role of PA's at Kaneland Allergy & Asthma Center

Physician Assistants are highly-trained health care professionals, certified by the State of Illinois to care for both children and adults. Under the supervision of our Medical Director, Dr. Sakina Bajowala, our PA's take medical histories, perform physical exams, conduct oral challenges, interpret skin testing and pulmonary function testing, and manage aeroallergen and food allergen desensitization therapy. They continuously consult with our Medical Director, Dr. Bajowala, who personally develops the plan for all patients under the care of our excellent PAs.
