THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES ARE USED DAILY THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER:
Students will be able to design/create a fitness program for personal use.
Students will demonstrate their ability to complete a daily workout recording sets, reps, equipment used, muscle groups trained, as well as any cardiovascular activity performed.
Students will demonstrate their ability to identify various muscle groups, as well as understand which exercises to perform in order to improve each specific group.
Students will demonstrate their ability to understand proper form when lifting weights which will allow them to assess their, and/or their partners' performance.
Students will demonstrate their ability to correctly spot a partners' lift.
Each student is expected to maintain a fitness log to reflect on previous routines focusing on exercises performed, resistance used, and number of repetitions completed.
