The JSD Team Sports curriculum is designed to allow students to improve cardiovascular endurance as well as physical skills needed for participation. Furthermore, participation in a team sports atmosphere can improve a students' leadership and social skills, as well as increase resiliency. The junior/senior level class includes but is not limited to; flag football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, and tchoukball. Students will also be responsible for understanding strategy and rules of each game. JHS "Personal Best Fitness Testing" occurs at the beginning and end of each semester.Â
