OBJECTIVE: This unit is in TWO PARTS. For this week, read everything in the document below titled: "The Romantic Period", and read everything in the slide presentation titled: "ROMANTIC PERIOD, 1820-1900" while also taking the time to see EVERY VIDEO in that slide presentation. .

UNIT: CLASSICAL PERIOD
STEP ONE: Become familiar with the Classical Period by reviewing "THE CLASSICAL PERIOD" document, and the "CLASSICAL PERIOD" slide presentation.
Be sure to read everything and watch all of the videos in the slide presentation (6 minutes each).
STEP TWO: Listen to all five of these Classics for Kids radio programs listed below. Again, some test material will come from them. They are all 6 minutes in length.
STEP THREE: Review the study guide for the test.

UNIT: BAROQUE PERIOD
STEP ONE: Become familiar with the Baroque Period by reviewing the BAROQUE PERIOD document, and the "THE BAROQUE PERIOD" slide presentation.
Be sure to read everything and watch all of the videos in the slide presentation (6 minutes each).
STEP TWO: LISTEN to all four "Classics for Kids" radio programs listed below. (6 minutes each)
STEP FIVE (Optional): BAROQUE UNIT EXTRA CREDIT (2 extra credit points per activity)
Listen to the following Classics for Kids radio programs. After listening to each program, take the quiz at the bottom of the page. When you've finished listening to the program and have taken its short quiz, just email me that you did it and I'll award you 2 points. Easy Peasy!

HOW TO SUBMIT WORK ONLINE
To submit photos of your work online, I suggest using a Chromebook or a regular computer rather than a phone.
1. On your device, download the Google Drive app and log in with your school account
2. Go to Mr. Munro's website and click the link to turn stuff in.
3. You should see an option to open it in the Google Drive app (you might need to click around a bit to find it)
4. In the App, go to "Shared with Me"
5. Find the folder for your class and open it
6. Click the big plus sign to add your files
