GENERAL INFORMATION:

Math 7:

We will cover a wide variety of topics this year, with a concentrated focus on application, computational fluency, and conceptual understanding of our topics and skills.  

Topics of Study:

Unit 1 -- Rational Number Operations

Unit 2 -- Expressions

Unit 3 -- Equations & Inequalities

Unit 4 -- Ratios and Proportional Relationships

Unit 5 -- Percent

Unit 6 -- Geometric Shapes & Angles

Unit 7 -- Probability

Unit 8 -- Surface Area & Volume

CLASS MATERIALS:

Please come to class each day, prepared with the following materials:

    -spiral notebook and folder

    -pencils

    -calculator TI 30XIIS is appropriate for this class

    -rulers/graph paper will also be used on occassion
