The Red naped- Ibis is regularly sighted these days around 6:00/6:30 every morning in the sports ground. I am seeing this for about a month. There is only a single individual playing among the flock of Common Myna. It can be seen for about ten minutes before we invade their space.

The Indian thick knee was sighted in the evening around 5.30 pm in the grassy patch near the old firing range in the sports field of the college. It was amazing to see this species and I was able to spot it because it just stood there immobile, a perfect foil against the wall.

I was lucky to spot the Scops Owl just outside my dining room window (it's true) and I remember the day perfectly because I was just on the way to the hospital for an ECG....I thought there were too many mynas shrieking and I went to the window to check....And what a sight greeted me....
