Materials purchased with instructional funds support learning within the school year and are limited to basic, standard, and economy-grade items. Your Educational Facilitator (EF) will work with you to ensure all requests support the learner’s course load and/or Individualized Learning Plan and Assignment Work Record (ILP/AWR).
Important Reminders:
All materials purchased with instructional funds remain the property of iLEAD Schools and must be returned to the (EF) within three business days of a learner’s withdrawal or graduation date. Materials may not be purchased from the school upon disenrollment.
Do not contact material providers directly. Any issues/concerns/questions regarding your orders should be addressed through your EF.
All materials must be non-sectarian and support the learner's enrolled courses and/or ILP/AWR.
Monthly box subscriptions or recurring shipments are not permitted. No exceptions. Individual boxes and bundles may be ordered and are delivered in one shipment.
Household items, personal items, toys, and excessive quantities of materials are not permitted.
Orders are final. Returns, refunds, and cancellations are not available. Discuss your learner's goals and expectations with your EF before submitting an Order Request to ensure that the materials ordered support your learner's ILP/AWR.
The Educational Facilitator will guide families in the selection of academic materials and services from our approved community provider list that supports the educational goals of the learner. The school reviews all materials and service requests for educational appropriateness and compliance with school polices.

Food and Kits that include edible food items intended for consumption.
CORE SUBJECTS
Instructional materials that support learning in core academic subjects. Materials should be appropriate for the learner's educational program and intended for academic instruction.
ACCEPTABLE
Print and digital curriculum
Subject specific textbooks, workbooks, and instructional texts
Literature and reference books
Science and STEM materials (standard, individual experiment kits, basic math manipulatives, basic coding kits)
UNACCEPTABLE
Sectarian curriculum or instructional materials.
Monthly curriculum subscription boxes or recurring shipments.
Materials intended primarily for entertainment than educational instruction
No lifetime or family digital subscriptions.
ART SUPPLIES
Basic, economy-grade items for art projects. No excessive quantities. Limited amounts of material suitable for a single project during the semester.
ACCEPTABLE
Basic Art Easel - e.g. no display easels
Art paper - card stock, colored paper, construction paper, media paper, watercolor paper
Art supplies - crayons, markers, pens, pencils, paints, paint brushes, colored pencils
Basic, economy-grade portfolios used to hold and organize work
Paper trimmer (slide cutter)
Sketchbooks
UNACCEPTABLE
Clothes, clothing dye, clothing kits
Cricut type machines and accessories
Personal Keepsakes (scrapbook albums & accessories, diaries with locks, etc.)
Packing/Shipping tape, mounting tape, command strips
Cardboard coloring houses, forts, castles etc.
Body & Face paint/glitter, face stickers, temporary tattoos, henna, nail art

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Basic equipment to support physical education skill development. Items should be reasonably priced, age appropriate, safe for home use, and portable, foldable, and easy to store.
ACCEPTABLE
Playground balls, soccer balls, volleyballs, basketballs, footballs, foam balls, kickballs, dodgeballs (foam or soft), etc.
Frisbees
Hula hoops
Jump ropes
Parachute (under 6 feet in diameter)
UNACCEPTABLE
Permanent, large, or heavy installations
Recreation items that are personal in nature (bicycles, tricycles, baseball bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, rackets, punching bags, martial arts pads, scooters, skateboards, gloves, helmets, swimming goggles, ice & roller skates, skis, swim gear, etc.)
Non-Basic PE equipment (plasmacar, pogo sticks, spooner boards, stilts, pool toys, etc.)
Personal Fitness or Gym Equipment - weights (dumbells, kettlebells, etc.), weight machines, grip trainers, massage/foam rollers, thigh trainers, yoga blocks and mats, exercise resistance bands, etc.
High Risk or weapon-like equipment (trampolines, slacklines, slingshots, aerial equipment, lariats/lassos, darts, disc golf baskets, etc.
Oversized/large equipment (boxing machines, swing sets, basketball hoops, full-size net systems, tetherball poles, ball pits, tumbling mats, hopscotch carpets, etc.
OFFICE SUPPLIES
Basic, economy-grade school supplies for learning. See “Quantity Limits & Spending Caps” below for more specific information.

The following quantity limits and spending caps are provided as general guidelines and are not all-inclusive. Additional items may also be subject to reasonable quantity and cost limitations. If you have any questions about this list, please reach out to your EF for guidance.

Middle and High school learners taking a high school-level math or STEM course.
Calligraphy & Fountain Pens — Up to $40
Approved only when required for an art class or project.
Camera (Elementary/Middle School) — up to $300
Camera (High School) — up to $350
Photography/film course only. Protection plan required for cameras over $150. Instant cameras, camera lenses, and photo-only printers are not approved.
Chalkboards & Whiteboards — up to $150
Maximum size 3' × 4'; no stands.

Paper — 2 reams per learner per semester
